Who is Pargali Ibrahim Pasha? Pargali Ibrahim Pasha life short. Pargali Ibrahim Pasha history. Death of Ibrahim Pasha. Where is Pargali Ibrahim Pasha cemetery?

Pargali Ibrahim Pasha, the sultan of Süleyman the Magnificent, is known in various sources as Frenk, Pargalı, Makbûl and Maktûl İbrahim Pasha.

Pargalı İbrahim Pasha, who lived in the Süleymanic Revolution of the Sufi, which was accepted as the golden age of Ottoman History, played an important role both in the political, military and art fields of the Ottoman State. İbrahim Pasha, who is the vizier of the sultan Süleyman, is known by various names as Frenk, Pargalı, Makbûl and Maktûl İbrahim Pasha. First of all, it’s a good idea to explain where these handles come from.

Adjective lacaby; Pargalı İbrahim Pasha, known for his close affinity with the sultan Süleyman, has gained the trust and love of the Sultan and, due to his rapid rise at the state level with few examples in history,

Victim narrative; Because of being killed by drowning, Pargal test; is born in the village of Parga, now on the borders of Greece. The Frankish nickname is; Mythology at the time of the Grand Vizier was given because of the group of sculptures known as “Three Authors” from Budin to Sultanahmet Square. This situation was not well received in that period, even poet Figani wrote this sentence as a spoken word for those who dislike it;

“Two Abrahams came to the earth.” He abhorred Ibrahim Pasha by saying, “Some have put idolatry, some have set up idols.”

The most important source of Ibrahim Pasha’s account in terms of his CV, his personality and his services to the state; Lâtîfî’s Enâsü’l-fusahâ and Evsâf-ı İbrahim Pâşâ are the treatises.

We can examine Ibrahim Pasha under three main headings.

THE RELATIONSHIP AND RISE OF PARGALI İBRAHİM PASHA AND THE RELEVANT SULTAN SÜLEYMAN

Looking at the information provided by Lâtîfî, while Şehzade Süleyman is Manisa Sancak Bey, he hears a kemençe voice on the outing of the countryside, wonders who played the kemench and wants to meet the kemeneyi. The slave Ibrahim was brought to face. The prince Suleiman was very fond of Ibrahim, and he began to invite Ibrahim, who he regarded as an integral part of the parliament over time, to his palace. Then the widow, who raised Abraham, gave up his slave. Thus Abraham entered the prince of the prince Suleiman. Prof.Dr.M.Tayyip Gökbilgin suggested that his knowledge in the Encyclopedia of Islam also met with Suleiman the Magnificent, Ibrahim Pasha and Küfe sancakbeyi.

The relation of Ibrahim Pasha with the sultan Süleyman the Suleiman determined every aspect of his life. In this, it is possible to see that the influence and support of the Sultan is a decisive determinant if it is military, political and artist personality. It should not be overlooked that Abraham, an extremely ambitious person, as understood from the sources studied, is an outwardly based dimension that is related to the sultan, as well as an internal dimension. Hammer, in the history of the Ottoman State, states that “superiority over the people of Abraham, youth, elaborate decency, patience towards the Sultan himself, all kinds of competition is impossible”. According to Hammer, because of the superior features of Abraham, Suleiman was an indispensable friend to him.

İsmail Hâmi Danişmend does not directly examine the reason of İbrahim Pasha’s closeness with the Süleyman the Suleiman the Kanuni. Danişmend connects this rapid rise of Ibrahim Pasha not with his qualities, but with his intelligence, scheming, and skepticism.

The rapid ascension of Ibrahim Pasha is also criticized and inappropriate at Koçi Bey Risalesi, and even at the beginning of the period he is regarded as the leading cause of the “world’s revolt”

DUTIES, SERVICES AND WORKS

Ibrahim Pasha, who has been known since the time when Kanuni was prince, was assigned to the Head-mâbeyiniği with the title of Has-aambaþi with a noticeable speed to fall contrary to the general procedure, and the task of Ýn-şahinciler Ağaliði was added to this. Over time, Ibrahim Pasha, who was declared a prisoner,

İbrahim Pasha took office in the Conquest of Belgrade in 1521. In 1522 he participated in the Rhodes campaign. In 1523 it was brought to the Grand Vizier in contradiction with the then-usual methods. In 1524 he married Kanuni’s sister Hatice Sultan. He was commissioned to establish order in Egypt and was given the title of Egyptian Beylerbeyi. Hungary participated in the campaign and played an important role in winning the Mohac Field War.

Later, he was commissioned to suppress the revolts in Anatolia. The rebellions ended with the measures taken in Anatolia. Participated in the 2nd Hungarian campaign which resulted in the 1st siege of Vienna. He conducted the negotiations of the Treaty of Istanbul, dated 1533, which equated the Austrian Emperor to the Ottoman Grand Vizier. He participated in the Irakeyn campaign against Safevil. After he received Tabriz, he joined the forces of Kanuni and took part in the conquest of Baghdad.

İbrahim Pasha, who has been a grand vizier for 13 years and who speaks Persian, Greek, Serbian and Italian, is also a member of Istanbul’s Mecca, Thessaloniki, Hezergrad (Razgrad) İbrahim Pasha Mosque and Kavala Mosque in addition to the İbrahim Pasha Palace, which is now used as a Museum of Turkish and Islamic Works. and a fountain, and has assigned foundations to them.

OUR RELEASE AND COMPLETION OF İBRAHİM PASHA

In some sources, as a result of Ibrahim Pasha’s privileges, it is argued that many decisions have given their own orders.
It is possible to mention four basic elements that will prepare the environment for the collapse of Ibrahim Pasha. These are clearly Pasha’s ruling ambition, which is clearly evident in reports prepared by foreign ambassadors to see Ibrahim Pasha.

2. Hürrem Sultan views Ibrahim Pasha as a threat to him,
3. Execution of Defterdar Iskender Çelebi,
4. is that Ibrahim Pasha signed the franchise as Serasker Sultan during his duty in Baghdad.

It is possible to present many examples of the power of Ibrahim Pasha’s power. İbrahim Pasha, in his talks on behalf of the sultan who has equipped himself with infinite power, reveals the ambition of this power. There are many examples of this in the reports of different foreign ambassadors. The most striking example is Ibrahim Pasha’s say to the ambassadors of Ferdinand:

“I am the one who governs this great state, whatever I do, as I have been made, for all power is mine: I give up the offices, I dispatch the provinces, I have been given and refused. Even when I want to give a big favor or give it to me, even if I do not approve of it, it is made as an unauthorized vow, because everything is harv, peace, fortune and power I have (long)

As can be seen from this transmission, Pasha is very active in the administration and is equipped with full authority in the decision phase. Abraham Pasha, however, is a privileged position

even if he has been given a position beyond the authority he has officially possessed : Even after having eaten dinner together with Kanuni, Pasha, in his room prepared for him in the harem of the palace, was killed by drowning in the form practiced on the grounds that the sultan was descendant. It is buried in Canfeda Zaviyes of Galata …
